When an installer comes out about winter tires, expect this.
None of this is specific to your house, and none of it is a price. It is what the visit is for.
- They need the exact size. It is on the sidewall of the tire, and on a sticker inside the driver's door.
- They will ask whether you want them on their own rims or swapped over each season.
- If they go on new rims, ask about the pressure sensors — not every set includes them.
- Ask whether they store the other set for you over the summer.
