Your data
Deleting everything we hold about you.
You can have it all erased, at any time, without giving a reason and without talking to anyone about why.
How
Email support@bunqos.com from the address you signed up with, with the word delete anywhere in it. If you no longer have access to that address, write from any address and tell us the postal code you gave — we’ll work it out from there.
If you reached us on WhatsApp and never gave us an email, message us there instead, or write from any address and give the number you messaged from. Everything from a WhatsApp conversation — your number, the name WhatsApp showed us, and every message either way — is kept in one record, so deleting it is one action rather than a hunt.
What happens
We look in every place your details can be, and there are four of them:
- Your request — what you told us you were planning, your postal code, your email address and phone number, and the consent wording you were shown with the date you agreed to it.
- Your conversation, if you messaged us on WhatsApp or used the chat on the site — your number, the name WhatsApp shows us, and every message either way.
- Any offer an installer made to you. Each one is filed under the same email address or phone number, because that is how your own page finds the offers waiting for you.
- Your account, if you made one to sign in.
- We delete all of it outright. Not flagged, not archived, not “soft-deleted”.
- We reply to confirm it’s done, and how many records there were.
- Within seven days, and usually the same day. We are small enough that a person does this by hand.
- Our backups keep a copy for up to seven more days. In case of a mistake, we keep daily backups for seven days and can wind the database back up to seven days. Your records stay in those copies until they expire on their own, at most seven days after we delete them. We never bring a deleted person back from a backup.
The one thing deleting cannot undo
If you accepted an offer, that installer already has your contact details. Accepting is the only thing that ever releases them, and it releases them to that one company — but once they have been released, they are out of our hands. Deleting your records removes our copy and removes what that installer can see on our screens, immediately and permanently. It cannot remove what they have already written down, and it cannot undo a conversation you have had with them.
If you want their copy gone too, ask them directly. They are a separate company and they answer for their own records.
What survives, and why
Nothing that identifies you. We keep aggregate counts — how many people in a postal area were interested in a category, roughly when they were planning it, and which headline they saw, cut down to the first three characters of the postal code rather than the full one you gave us, and to the month rather than the day — with no email address, phone number or free text attached. That is what tells us whether this business is worth building, and it cannot be traced back to you.
Just want the emails to stop?
Use the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or ask us. That stops the mail without deleting your record — say delete if you want both.
