Before they visit

When an installer comes out about a heat pump, furnace or air conditioner, expect this.

None of this is specific to your house, and none of it is a price. It is what the visit is for.

  • They will ask what heats the house now, how old it is, and roughly what it costs to run.
  • They will want to see the electrical panel. A heat pump can need capacity the house does not have spare.
  • They will ask about the ductwork, and which rooms are always colder than the rest.
  • Floor area and how well the house holds heat both change what size unit you need.

None of that commits you to anything. It is worth knowing whether BunQo's finds you a group or not.

If it would help

Tell us you’re planning this.

We are trying to get work like this quoted for several households at once, on the grounds that one trip down one street is worth more to an installer than three trips across a city. No installer has signed with us yet, no group has run, and you are not agreeing to buy anything by telling us.
